I grew up in North Devon and have been a qualified Optometrist for over 15 years. I am always keen to continue learning about eyes and have recently undertaken further study to achieve professional certificates in the fields of Glaucoma and Medical Retina.

It has been a long held ambition to open my own practice where I can take the time to get to know my patients and tailor my approach to each individuals needs. I am delighted to have been able to do this so close to home.

I have been working in optics for over thirty years here in Braunton. I have got to know many of our patients well over the years and am always available to help with any concerns you may have in person or at the end of the phone.

I am responsible for much of the day to day admin in store and am also happy advising on frame and lens selection as well as repairing and fitting glasses. I have recently completed my senior optical assistant qualification with the association of British dispensing opticians which I really enjoyed.

My favourite thing about working in optics is finding the perfect frame for each individual. We have such a great range of frames here and I love the challenge of finding that special one. Once we have found the frames talking to people about the range of options with lenses from transitions to varifocals helps me to make sure we have happy customers who have the best product for their vision and their lifestyle.
